The RPX Photo Album
Otakon 1999:
- wading
in the fountains near the inner harbor -
This was what we resorted to when the con staff told us
that, for liability reasons, we could not play duck-duck-goose
anymore. We were more than happy to comply with them and
take up a more interesting game . . . fountain swimming.
- some of
the people who make RPX what it is -
There were a LOT of people that wandered with us, some
longer than others, and a lot of the photos that were
taken at Otakon 99 have been lost. This is a mere handful
of those that helped throughout the night.
- RPXers
trying to set an elevator-stuffing record -
Hehehehe!
- and
trying even harder
-
We resorted to vertical stacking . . .
- karen
and cristi relaxing while they have the chance -
And no one can blame them. With all the rushing around,
singing, swimming, and wandering, we all needed a rest at
the end.
- RPX
doing what we do best -
Mmm . . . roaming.
- our
shoes at the fountain -
And our wallets, and watches, and organizers, and who
knows what else . . .
- julie,
all suited up and ready to roam -
One of the people who truly made RPX possible.
- steve
as the mighty captain harlock -
One of the other people who truly made RPX possible, and
who also helped spread the word in the "Elevator
Party" that went on after RPX had boiled down to a
handful of people sitting in a room bonding . . . those
same people who, for the most part, make up 99% of the
mailing list now.
- duck . .
. duck . . . goose!
-
We stole people from the "rave," brought them
downstairs, and started playing duck-duck-goose. We had
an audience, as well . . . but the con staff was worried
about lawsuits, so we took it outside. Heh, heh, heh.
