Updates = = = = = 05.24.05 Moved the site to Discarnate. Cleansed the site of all Freeservers ads. Pointed the "join the rpx mailing list" button to our "new" list (which was new as of 2001). Pointed the "contact the webmaster" button to an email address the webmaster actually has. First update in five years. Expect much more soon. = = = = = 03.09.00 Changed the entire layout of the site. If you couldn't tell . . . I sincerely hope this is your first visit here. = = = = = 02.02.00 Added Steve's "You Might be a RPXer If . . ." list. Good shtuff. Still waiting on the mascot. Preliminary sketch is up. See link below. = = = = = 12.09.99 I have moved most of the front page to the "accomplishments" section, which is new. I added a new background a while ago, but never put it in the updates. -_- I don't suppose anyone checks the page, anyways. But just in case. I've also tidied up the "links" section, which is now entitled "member links." Still waiting on that mascot by Katt. = = = = = 11.28.99 I have removed the Convention Attendance List for now, because of lack of interest. Sorry, for those of you who were interested. It just wasn't working. I have designed a new background, and have changed the text colours on most pages. No biggie. New mascot coming soon! This is your Webmaster, signing off. = = = = = 09.08.99 I have moved the updates from the front of the page to this page, as should be quite obvious. I've also added the conlist, and I do hope more people contribute to the list ASAP. Other than that, I have yet to put up a general O99 Pics page, I should, shouldn't I? When I get some more free time. We don't have too too many (I know more were taken, like the one where we all made the "X" sign right outside of Steve and Julie's room) . . . but there are enough to keep the memory alive. Enjoy! Our mailing list is up and running, and people are using it, which is a good thing. I can see it picking up momentum in the near future, too. I'm not sure what else to say now. Um. Ah, yes, read the above paragraph again. I'd really like to get some quotes from the party, unless no one really remembers any. Come on, you could make some up, and as long as they are close to something someone said at RPX, it'd work, right? I mean, even newspapers paraphrase. Also, I would like to extend my thanks to every single person who was a part of or formed an audience for RPX at any time during its existence. It is for you I make this web page. I salute you! I would also like to extend my dearest and deepest thanks to Steve and Julie, two of the most fun, intelligent, and caring people on this planet. And I again thank everyone who was in the elevator I tried to get on in the Sheraton, the one that was filled, and the one from which Julie demanded that I show up at Hyatt room 755. Had you people been in a different elevator, I'd have come home from Otakon with no new friends, and less memories. I'd also have gone to that rave. Ech. This is your Webmaster, signing off. |
